art has been slow for the most part. although did find some inspiration for Monolith. full generic body shot and then did a silhouette that came out nice. have a few ideas but no drive to work on the others atm. I dunno....we'll see, but dont go holdin yer breath.....it could be awhile.

been on a CR kick lately. after get em all done plan is to stick em all together. may do one of matt for the background....dunno yet.

so given I have been FINALLY using my art tablet I am finding some things I need to get used to versus paper. with paper, I can easily rotate the whole thing as it is a bit easier. the tablet, given it's size is not so easily rotatable, I can turn it to it's side )relatively( easily, but going full 180 is out of the picture at this time. ....and yes I suppose I could just rotate the image itself but that's not the same durn it! lol.

overall I am getting used to it...still been drawing on paper, rescanning then redoin the lines but think I will try a new piece completely on the tab an see how that goes.

on a side note, I have to use two different programs. my ole stand by and one I am most comfy with is GIMP, but it has issues with my tab... the program I had to grab for the tab itself is KRITA. decent enough but doesn't have some of the built in do-dads that I like in GIMP. a perfect example there being KRITA has nuthin for various metals built in where GIMP has a bunch. I suppose I could go look for plug in's....but being lazy atm. :p

so, I have had a tablet for a good bit now but I have always ran into one issue or another when attempting to use it. well, decided NOT TODAY! sat down for a good hour, or so, figuring out what was wrong and what I needed to get it to work. an, voila....first piece completed via tablet and two different apps.

while not the best out there, I can see the areas that I need to get a lil more experience with in one of the apps. otherwise, I am happy with how he came out. still needs a background though.

playing with idea of trying on a halfling type next. dunno, the concept I found a pic that pretty much represents the look I like exactly, but still...there's that growin urge to try my hand hand at it.

another day of doin nuthin, locked away in the cave. an gads do I miss rollin dice. havent been at a table for some good ole d&d for a couple years now. given I live in the middle of nowhere land, finding a table is a pain in the arse. so, to scratch the itch, been workin on concept characters (that will likely never see the light of day), occasionally doing a drawing of said characters, at least the ones that interest me the most, and finally watchin CR. gads....bored. feh.

still breathin, just havent been by in a good while. adding a new myth piece.

stay safe folks!!!
